Little Brewery
About me
Hi! I'm Alanah. I have had a passion for art for as long as I can remember, and have explored the depths of my creativity through many different art forms. Painting, sketching and digital art were my main interests in secondary education.
However, the TV shows I enjoyed were all 2D animated and the fascinating ability to bring still images to life quickly intrigued me. I knew I wanted the skills to bring life to my own stories, work and imagination, and thus decided to study Animation in Sheffield.
I have found it challenging and equally rewarding, and every mistake I've made and new skill I've learned has reminded me that this is what I truly enjoy and want to build my career on. I was always specifically drawn to 2D animation as it is the discipline most focused on actual drawing and has the most traditional roots. Particularly in the Little Brewery project, I wanted to create something clean and pleasant to watch, focusing on quality and aesthetics. The cafe-life aesthetic is something I also enjoy so it felt right to incorporate this as the central concept of my animation.

Little Brewery is the cumulation of everything I have learned and how far I have come on my artistic journey; I have enjoyed watching my work improve over the few years I have been studying here and I am already excited to progress to my next big project.
